Achieve your goals.
Remember, you can achieve any goal you set your mind to. Of course, remember to set honest goals (don’t decide to run 10 miles a day when you can barely endure a 20-minute walk). The only failure is quitting. As long as you keep trying, you will achieve success.
Instructions
-
Want your goal badly.
Ask yourself, “What do I really want to do?” and base your goal around that. If you are pursuing a goal because you want to, and not because you feel like you should, you will be able to overcome any obstacle. -
Practice making decisions.
If you’re the type of person who doesn’t like to make decisions (for whatever reason), practice by making smaller ones in a constrained amount of time. For example, pick an item off the menu at a restaurant in under a minute. Making decisions quickly is one of the most important things you’ll need to do when it comes to achieving your goals; after all, if you don’t make any decisions, you will never get closer to success. Remember, don’t try to negotiate these decisions—you know what needs to be done, so do it. -
Be the last person standing.
Tenacity is another important quality for success. Never give up, no matter how tough it gets.
