Adopt a “success” mindset

Instructions

  1. Decide to think that everything is serving your benefit.
Adopt the mindset that everything that happens to you has a purpose and can help you grow. For example, the breakup may have happened because you are about to meet someone much better for you. You got fired because your dream job is waiting for you. You lost someone, but that will help you learn to appreciate your time with loved ones, etc. List the lessons you learned from your losses and misfortunes.
  2. Follow the experts’ success routine.
Choose the skill in which you wish to excel, set the exact daily routine required to succeed, and practice it every day. Be self-disciplined and determined to succeed. Practice self-control and use time wisely: prioritize what's truly important, don't make decisions you don't need to, limit distractions, and pay less attention to what's not important.
  3. Set one meaningful goal.
Organize your life around one big goal: to set goals that focus on enjoying what you have rather than chasing what you don't. Finish the books you've started but haven't finished. Finish unfinished projects. Spend more time with the friends you already have instead of looking for new ones. Get rid of anything that isn't serving you anymore, etc.
