Create a schedule based on your personality

Instructions

  1. Automate simple decisions.
Start by listing all of the decisions you make daily and arrange them in order of importance. From there, you can automate certain decisions like eating or deciding what to wear, etc. Things like exercising, for example, should be done at the same time each day, so you don’t need to think about it; you just do it automatically. By automating certain decisions, it’s easier to develop good habits.

  2. Match activities with energy levels.
Be aware of when you have the most energy and attention during the day. Are you most productive early in the morning, or do you prefer to do important work late at night? Maybe you work in short bursts with big breaks between. Plan your schedule so that the most difficult and important tasks are completed when you have the highest energy. During the low-energy periods, complete tasks that don’t require a lot of focus and take breaks.

  3. Be consistent with your schedule.
Consistency is very important, so try your best to stick to your schedule every day.
