Create means to curb your triggers

Instructions

  1. Create four goals for each important pillar of life.
Create one goal for the following: a social time goal, a personal enrichment goal, a wealth goal, and a health goal. Then, create 1-3 process/action goals to reach each.

  2. Create your own rules you must follow.
Set strict rules for your life that you must follow the same way you follow traffic laws. Abide by them to avoid temptations.

  3. Make structured to-do lists.
Create a to-do list with deadlines for tasks that are specifically task-oriented.

  4. Make a ‘not-to-do’ list.
Come up with a list of your productivity weaknesses, aka a list of not-to-do’s. Then, write two solutions for each to overcome them. For example, if you struggle with getting distracted by text messages, two solutions could be putting your phone in “do not disturb” mode or turning it off.

  5. Find your action triggers.
Find out what triggers help you get back on a task or trigger you into action when you are distracted, and use it to your advantage!
