Instructions
- Sit still for 10 minutes every day, becoming aware of how your body feels.
This is an antidote to the pace of modern life, which gives us too little time to assimilate, reflect, and react and crowds out our quieter inner voice. Do nothing except notice how the body feels physically and emotionally. - Go for a walk when making an important decision about work.
Let ideas bubble up. Notice if you are feeling relaxed or apprehensive. - Ask yourself, āWill this produce a sense of accomplishment and contribution?ā
A discrepancy between action and value will result in guilt or shame, deep doubts or nagging second thoughts, queasiness, or remorse. Choices made in keeping with your inner rudder are energizing and feel right.
