Declare your truth
Instructions
-
Find a quiet location and sit comfortably.
Somewhere safe, where you will not be disturbed. -
Think about the stories that you have carried around with you.
“I pretend I am happy, but I am really suffering because I am lonely.” “I can’t stop feeling guilt, unworthiness, and self-pity - I don’t know how to feel something else.” -
Write down everything that comes to you – become familiar with your story and comfortable admitting it.
Writing things down helps you get clarity and gain understanding. Review what you have written and what you want to admit to this power. -
In a soft voice, declare the truth about who you have been and what you have been hiding about yourself.
Develop a relationship with the greater consciousness. Using the example of anger, you might say aloud, “I have been an angry person my whole life,” then softly say the emotion “anger” a few times. By declaring this out loud, you are breaking the emotional ties, dependencies, attachments, bonds, and addictions to all the external cues (people and places) in your life. -
Make this step simple, easy, and light-hearted.
Do not overanalyze what you have done; just know that the truth shall set you free. -
Notice that when you verbalize who you have been, you also liberate energy stored in your body and feel energized.
It takes enormous energy to keep up an image, and by declaring this truth, you release that energy. You will feel relieved, inspired, and uplifted.
