Determine your strategic objective
Instructions
-
Create money standards for your business.
Think about your primary aims in life and how much money you need to achieve those aims. Through this, you can determine how much money your business needs to earn so you can live the lifestyle you desire. -
Decide if the opportunity is worth pursuing.
Your business is only worth pursuing if it has the potential to earn enough money to deliver the lifestyle you want. To know this, ask yourself. “Does this business fulfill customers’ needs?” Instead of a specific product for your business, think about the problem it solves for the customer or the feeling it sells them. This is the key to earning revenue. -
Outline the details of the business.
Once you are confident that the business has potential and it is worth pursuing, you can start outlining the details. Will you operate locally, nationally, or internationally? Will you be a retail or wholesale business? What standards will you insist on (cleanliness, uniforms, customer service, management styles, etc.)? How many years will it take for the business you have envisaged to be up and running? Write all these details down.
