Establish a cleaning routine
Instructions
- Focus on the routines.
 Establish regular routines that you won't break. For example: washing the dishes, running a washing machine every day, wiping the kitchen, removing clutter from the bathroom, etc.
- Do a daily five-minute pickup.
 Every time you notice a mess, set the stopwatch to five minutes and tidy the house. Include other family members for a faster and better result.
- Create a cleaning schedule.
 Determine which day of the week will be dedicated to doing tasks such as laundry, cleaning the bathroom, mopping, dusting, and so on. If you feel overwhelmed, set a time limit and divide hours into minutes for each task.
- Use pauses productively.
 Use an unexpected amount of free time to finish some housekeeping tasks. For example, throw trash away, arrange dishes in the machine, do a quick five-minute pickup, etc.
