Filter out all distractions.

People were coming to Jobs with all kind of problems, but he ignored them and refused to deal with them. He did not say a word to address these issues and did not respond to emails. Jobs strongly believed that all these problems were distractions, and that his job was only to focus on what was truly important to him.

1. When people come to you with problems, don’t take them on if you don’t have to.
   Focus on the things that are really important and filter out the rest.
