Focus on what really matters
Instructions
-
Trim down your goals and objectives.
Keep the number of your team objectives small — the initiatives that make a real difference. There’s always a lot more that can be achieved but you must remember that if you try to focus on everything, you end up focusing on nothing. -
Communicate with clarity.
Ensure that your top-line goals and objectives are understood by your team, and throughout the organization. Communicate them consistently. When you’re tired of saying it, people are starting to hear it. -
Track 3-5 metrics as your key results
Measure for success with earth-bound and metric-driven key results. These should include hard numbers for one or more gauges such as: revenue, growth, active users, quality, safety, market share, and customer engagement.
