Follow the 42-hour fasting protocol to manage Type II diabetes
Instructions
-
Fast for the entire day, for at least three days of the week, but skip breakfast every day, regardless of whether or not it’s a fasting day.
Skip breakfast, lunch, and dinner on day one. Also skip breakfast on day two, which is your non-fasting day. -
Eat diets that are low in refined carbohydrates and high in natural fats on eating days.
This helps limit your number of calories, thereby improving your health. Examples include leafy green vegetables, cauliflower, broccoli, and olive oils. -
You may want to eat only whole, unprocessed foods on eating days.
These foods are healthy as they have little or no additives. Examples include seafood, legumes, grains, and fruits.
