Generalize correctly
Instructions
-
Keep generalizing.
The Generalization Instinct is beneficial when used wisely. You don’t need to stop categorizing thoughts because they might seem incorrect. Just do it efficiently. -
Detect differences between groups.
For example, when comparing more countries, search for the differences first. -
Search for similarities between groups.
Find similarities between the groups you differentiated. Doing this will give you a clear perspective. -
Consider the majority.
Beware of what “majority” means: more than half. When items of the same group exceed this limit, they can be considered “majority.”
