Identify your strengths
Instructions
- Write down in your journal about the strengths you already have.
To help you identify your strengths, think about the moments you feel most like yourself. Try to identify what you are really good at or what the people closest to you come for (support, advice, etc.). - Ask a few people close to you what they think your strengths are.
You could, for example, ask them: “How do I positively contribute to your life?”. Give them time to think and be prepared for an honest answer. Make a note of what they have said. - Compare the two list: the one you wrote and the one people in your life shared.
What is the most recurrent strength on the list? With what words do you identify most? Can people rely on you no matter the circumstances? Are you always happy to help others? Can you fix anything? These are examples of natural strengths. - Determine your greater purpose using your strengths.
How can you use your strengths to help people or lead a more meaningful life?
