When selling a product to a prospect, speak with conviction, ensure your words have meaning and control the conversation while not being too overpowering. -
Engage in massive intelligence gathering while also building rapport.
a) Secure information on your client’s needs, core beliefs, values, and pain points/what worries them the most.
b) Uncover past experiences with similar products (good or bad) as well as the client’s financial standing and the company's financial position.
c) Focus on building rapport with the client and use that to gain more invasive intelligence (like how liquid the client is) while ensuring you keep the prospect within healthy boundaries.
