  1. Reflect on how easy it is for you to give in to your appetites.
    Do you give in to your appetites without a second thought? Which appetites do you indulge in most? How do you feel after you’ve indulged in those appetites? What appetites would you need to resist, as they can hinder your progress toward your goals?
  2. Craft your own strategy to resist appetites that hinder your progress toward your goals.
    Your strategy should work for you. Every person is different. Your strategy could be writing your long-term goals and life’s purpose and then looking at them every time you feel tempted to give in to your appetite. It could also be writing down affirmations that could empower you to take control of these appetites. Be creative and personalized when crafting your strategy.
