Observe a particular art and write about it
Instructions
-
Take a look at the art you want to write about or visit artistic places.
For example, you will gain first-hand information about a specific piece of art after visiting the museum where its kept. -
Review the art.
Describe the art, bringing out the things you find intriguing and those that could be better. -
Use specific details.
Avoid using generalizations that mean nothing. For example, instead of writing “the play was fascinating”, state the twists that made the play memorable to you. Instead of stating that Tom Wolfe’s style is gaudy and unusual, go ahead and quote some of his gaudy and unusual sentences to let your readers see how quirky they are. -
Write in a stylish and adhesive manner.
For example, use metaphors when comparing two different works of art. -
Include humor.
This will make your write-up entertaining. -
Include your personal opinion.
Don’t just describe or narrate an art, but also express your personal opinion firmly. For example, “the worth of the painting is yet to be seen”.
