Defeat your enemy

Instructions

  1. Identify your internal Enemy.
Begin by recognizing the thoughts, feelings, or behaviors that seem to hold you back or create internal conflict. For example, continuous negative self-talk during important tasks or activities can be a manifestation of your Enemy.
  2. Analyze the common and hidden forces.
Reflect on the common and hidden Forces that might be manifesting as your Enemy. This could be self-doubt, imposter syndrome, or personal narratives stemming from past traumas.
  3. Name your Enemy.
Create psychological distance and weaken its influence by personalizing your Enemy with a name and identity. For example, visualizing your negative self-talk as a harmless entity, like a cartoon character, might assist you in confronting it better.
  4. Challenge the Enemy.
Dispute the limitations and messages brought by the Enemy by probing their validity. For example, ask yourself whether the criticisms and fears it voices are true or merely reflections of past anxieties.
  5. Adopt positive and empowering narratives.
Identify affirmative messages and narratives that support your goals and subdue your Enemy. Replace internal negative dialogues with empowering affirmations, like "I am capable and strong."
