Practice perseverance.
The difference between winners and losers is not whether they are winning or losing, but how they react in the face of failure. Perseverance is what ultimately allows the winners to reach the finish line.
Jim Cantrell, who helped Musk found SpaceX, answered the following question on Quora.com: “How did Elon Musk manage to learn enough about rockets to run SpaceX?” Cantrell answered that it was “not because he is very intelligent, or incredibly hard working. Both are true.” But there is another thing that Cantrell highlighted, “Musk cannot conceive of failure.”
Cantrell, having 25 years of experience in building space hardware, couldn’t see SpaceX succeeding and walked away. Musk had no experience. And yet, he succeeded.
