Identify up to three apps that you waste a significant amount of your time on.
These are your ‘bad habit’ apps. Remove them. -
Think about what needs they fulfill.
For example, they may provide you with entertainment. Or, they may help you feel connected to your friends, family, and the world around you. -
Identify a replacement app for each one.
For example, if you tend to waste time on YouTube as you enjoy learning new things, you could replace it with Duolingo. -
Place your replacement apps where your ‘bad habit’ apps used to be.
Use the habit of clicking on your ‘bad habit’ apps to click on your replacement apps instead.
