Socialize at parties
Instructions
-
Make an unforgettable entrance by slowly walking in and analyzing the situation.
When you arrive at the party, stop dramatically in the doorway. Then s-l-o-w-l-y survey the situation. -
Keep an open body, arms uncrossed and hanging at your sides, palms up, legs slightly separated and a slight smile on your face as much as possible.
This will give the other party a signal that “you are welcomed” while folding your arms will give the signal of “stay away”. -
Remember to eat before coming to the party to leave your hands free for heavy networking.
People won't feel comfortable approaching you if you’re eating. -
Always sit at the center.
This will reflect your confidence. Don't seek out corners or seats where you are harder to see.
