Start your accountability group

Instructions

  1. Define what you want to achieve with an accountability group.

  2. Post a tweet or Facebook status update that you are looking for an accountability partner.

  3. Choose someone you know who delivers on commitments.
If you prefer to work with someone you don’t know, look online. For example, the Entrepreneur Online Forum is very resourceful.

  4. Once you find a partner/s, schedule biweekly meetings.

  5. Decide who will lead the agenda.

  6. Always start your meeting with a question, ‘how healthy is your business?’
Provide a one-sentence assessment and then move to a three-minute update about your business.

  7. Talk about and discuss everything you find relevant.
These can be account balances, business challenges, and business wins.
