Store your things properly

How to Apply This
- Find a specific place (container) for your stuff.
Find a location (container) for all types of items, such as stuffed animals, coffee mugs, socks, etc. Then, place items in the container so that it is more manageable - remove everything that makes your drawer or box appear cluttered. - Pick your favorites.
Arrange the things in the container according to your favorites and their order of importance. Once you fill the container, put all the excess in the donation box. For example, show your child a special place for stuffed animals. Ask him to put the one he likes best first. The next favorite comes next, and so on. While he is picking out his favorites, tell him gently that the rest will go into the donation box once the container is full. - Create a “keepsake” box.
Choose a spot that isn't used for anything else and find the box that fits that place. It could be as simple as a shelf in a closet or under your bed. As you declutter, put anything you can't part with in your keepsake box. Remember that the box is your limit. If the “keepsake” box is full and you want to add something new, you must remove one item before adding it. - Empty the “miscellaneous” box.
Find a place for everything in your house first so it will be easier to declutter. Then, slowly eliminate “miscellaneous” storage because it creates more clutter.
