Use a divergence test to assess your current level of creativity.

Creativity and imagination are actually very important in leading you to success. Raw intelligence can definitely take you a long way, but once you are competing with other intelligent people, creativity is what will make you stand out.

Try to come up with out-of-the-box, new, and interesting solutions and ideas, and train your creative thinking skills by attempting divergence tests every now and then!

1. Write down as many uses as you can think of for 1) a brick and 2) a blanket.
   Give yourself 10 minutes for this exercise.

2. Look through your lists.
   Are your uses practical or imaginative? Are they typical or out-of-the-box? (An example of a common use for a brick would be building, but a creative one would be to use it in a smash-and-grab raid.)
   Evaluate each of your uses. This will give you a rough idea of your level of creativity.
