Use autosuggestion to change thought patterns and overcome fears
Instructions
-
Sit comfortably in a quiet place.
When you are still and relaxed, the subconscious mind is more open to suggestions. -
Think about your biggest fears.
Consider the fears that are holding you back. These are things like, “I can't,” “people will laugh at me,” or “I might fail.” -
Counteract the fear suggestion.
Think about the opposite, positive outcomes to your fears and repeat these to yourself. Examples of these phrases include “I can” and “I will succeed.” Try to relate them to specific situations. For example, “I will finish this project on time,” and “I am deserving of a promotion.” -
Repeat three times daily. Do this three times per day, repeating each statement five times slowly. Always do one session right before going to sleep.
