No Idea What I'm Doing But F*ck It
by Ron LimThis book changes our view of the world, restores self-confidence, and motivates us to take control of our own lives. It highlights the fact that nobody has a perfect grasp of their life's direction, and neither do you. However, instead of being discouraged by it, we should instead eliminate everything that makes us miserable and strive for what fulfills us. This book is a collection of reflections on and insights from the quest for "wanting more in life."
Everyone Is Lost In Life
“No one knows anything. Not you, not me, not your parents, not your friends.”
All of us are convinced that everyone else in the room knows more than we do. Because of that, we consider ourselves beneath the rest of society. We feel like we don’t know what we’re doing, so we seek others’ guidance. However, the fact is that no one else really knows what they're doing either, so why listen to someone who doesn't know what they're doing when you can mess it up yourself?
Often, the reason too many of us give up on everything is that we get stuck in the “I have no idea what I’m doing with my life” phase. Here, we keep on waiting for something that won’t happen because we don’t know what we’re expecting or searching for. Sometimes, we’re even waiting for the ideal moment—which doesn’t really exist. We’re also terrified of making a bad choice; hence, we procrastinate a lot. In other words, we keep wasting our time waiting for the ideal moment.
The truth is that we can’t do anything about the present if we spend our time and mental resources worrying about the future. If we believe nothing will work, nothing makes sense, and we have no idea where to go, we will not make any progress. It is enough to take at least the first step without too much questioning.
We miss opportunities because we are unsure of their point and purpose. However, we should not be bothered by that; instead, we should learn to say "yes" to everything we want. It could be saying yes to attempting something new, leaving behind situations that no longer work, and reinventing yourself.

Leave Behind What Doesn't Bring You Happiness
“Sometimes, the best thing you can do for yourself is to leave.”
You cannot progress, grow and find happiness if you stay in a place that makes you feel bad, unfulfilled, and unhappy. While those places are not bad, they will prevent you from progressing any longer. If you are trapped in an area where you have already finished developing, there isn't much you can do. So you should move from that spot.
People stay in such places because they fear change. But we have nothing to fear because we always have a chance to return. For example, if you decide to pack your bags and explore the world, you can always return home if it doesn't work out.
If you do not move in the direction your soul wants to go, you will become increasingly tired and inert. It is a type of exhaustion that sleep won't cure; it comes from the ache of your soul's desire to be someone else and the fatigue of acting as though you care about everything you don't.
To finally move in the direction you feel your soul wants, you must leave the place where you feel like you're withering. Things may be difficult at first, but eventually, you will find yourself happier. The fear of failure and the belief that you cannot do better is the reason why you do not begin on the path to change. We should remember our previous triumphs to find the drive to change what we don't like.

Make Mistakes
“You don't always have to get it right the first time.”
The fear of making mistakes keeps us trapped, preventing us from growing. This happens similarly when other people tell us something is wrong with us, even though we feel there’s none. In such cases, we must learn to listen to ourselves and our inner feelings. If we believe something will make us happy, we should attempt it regardless of what others say.
Sometimes we lack the motivation to pursue our goals and believe everything we do is a waste of time and a mistake. This normally happens, but it doesn’t mean we should halt our progress toward the goal.
It is important to make mistakes, learn from them, and adapt to the consequences of our choices. No one can assure us that our choices will turn out well, yet choosing not to make any effort to improve our lives is unquestionably a poor choice. The only way to overcome the fear of making mistakes is to begin making them and discover that there is nothing so frightening about that process.
Remember that making mistakes is a process of learning, progressing, and working to achieve what we care about. It is a sign that we have started down the path to change.

Get Out And Experience Your Life
“Pack your bags, buy a one-way ticket, and leave if you feel like shit.”
People often can’t find what their soul wants, so they should go out into the world to find it. The world is a path of various opportunities, people, and miracles. It’s full of various opportunities, people, and wonders. You may find happiness in exploring the world itself, and who knows, this exploration may lead you to people or things that will fill your heart with joy.
People do not dare to leave home, travel, and explore the world because they are afraid of insecurity. However, there is indeed no absolute security or guarantee for anything. But certainly, if you move from a place where you are unhappy, something will already be better. That is why it is good to pack your backpack and go on a journey. Here we are talking about solo traveling, which brings many benefits, such as insight into our resourcefulness and endurance.
Traveling liberates us from a tremendous desire for acceptance and media addiction. We change when we stop relying on social networks and wasting our time trying to get others' approval. The sensation of serenity and the feeling that we are enough are the most obvious signs of this shift.

The Answers You Need Are In You
“Make a decision, and the universe will align accordingly."
When we don't know what to do with ourselves, we go to the world around us for answers, hoping for a miracle or at least some wise advice. However, the best advice you can receive will come from yourself, as no one else can truly understand your deepest aspirations and what will bring you the most joy. If you still can't figure out what you want, at least try to know what you don't want. This is sufficient to initiate the change process.
We often desperately want to change our lives—be someone else, do a different job, and so on. But since we think that we do not have enough resources to achieve this, we wait for someone else to do it for us. Remember that we are responsible for our own lives. No one else can change it, and we have all the resources within ourselves.
Besides, we should also have faith in the universe. Many doors open when we start down the path our soul wants to follow. But what happens when the universe throws us something hard to go through? Simply, we need to change how we react to them and take them all as valuable life lessons.
Along your journey, remember to have faith that things will improve. Believe that change is possible and that you have the ability to achieve it. You don't need anything else to get started; you just have to decide to get started. You should have confidence that the route you are on will eventually lead somewhere, and even if you don't reach your destination right away, you will have come a long way from where you started.
You should trust the process since success depends on your level of dedication and effort just as much as it does on the fact that you are moving in the right direction.
